Regina “Jean” M. (Elias) Raffaele, age 79, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2013. Jean was born on September 2, 1933 in Pittsburgh, and is the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Elias. She is the beloved wife of the late Samuel Raffaele; loving sister of Mary (the late Joseph) Lemanski, Andrew (the late Andree) Elias, Margaret (Sam) Parinella, James (Sandy) Elias, Richard (Joyce) Elias, Vincent (Judy) Elias, Joseph (Kathy) Elias, and the late Betty, Veronica, Rose, Ann, Danny, and Barbara. Jean is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Jean was a courageous and positive soul. She enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation hours at Cremation & Funeral Care by Danielle Andy Belusko, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546 on Sunday, February 17th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 126 Fort Couch Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241, on Monday, February 18th, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
