Jettie Haley, age 88, of Carrick, formerly residing in the Hill District, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Haley; loving mother of Julie A. Haley of Carrick; grandmother of Dominique Bell of Polish Hill, Michelle Quashie of Carrick, Darrin Haley of Carrick, and Darryl Haley of Carrick, and Great-Grandmother of Joel Flowers, III.
As a sibling of 11 brothers and sisters, Jettie is survived by one sister, Annie Parks of Winston Salem; and nephews, Richard Denny of North Wilkesboro and Louis Denny of Winston Salem. She also leaves behind many great nephews and nieces.
Jettie was a strong and courageous lady, and was wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
